How much does a roof frame or a roof renovation cost?
The price depends on many factors: the surface area, the type of frame or roof covering, the materials chosen, site access and, for renovations, the condition of the existing structure. Every project is unique. We provide a free, detailed quote after studying your project.
Do you work on both new builds and renovations?
Yes. We carry out new builds (carpentry, roofing, timber-frame houses) as well as renovations: roof refurbishment, raising of structures, extensions, attic conversion, replacement of zinc work.
What is your service area?
We work in Sarrebourg and up to 30 km around (Réding, Buhl-Lorraine, Phalsbourg, Fénétrange, Lorquin, Dabo and the surrounding villages), and beyond on request.
Are you insured and certified?
Yes. Hauter Company holds a ten-year (décennale) insurance and the RGE Qualibat / Eco Artisan certification. Mr Hauter is a Master Carpenter, holder of a Master Craftsman's diploma, with over 25 years of experience.
Does your work qualify for French government grants?
Thanks to our RGE certification, your energy-renovation work (insulation in particular) is eligible for French government grants such as MaPrimeRénov' or the zero-interest eco-loan. Conditions and amounts depend on your situation; we guide you during the quote.
How long does a project take?
The duration depends on the type and scale of the work. We are a company in high demand, so some lead time may be needed before a project starts. A precise schedule is provided and we do our best to satisfy everyone, without ever compromising on quality. Feel free to contact us early to plan your project.
When should you maintain or redo your roof?
Watch for moss and lichen, porous or cracked tiles, and signs of water infiltration. Regular moss removal extends the life of your roof. If in doubt, we can carry out an inspection (including by drone) and advise you.
Can I buy materials without hiring your teams?
Yes. We run a sales store in Sarrebourg, open to individuals and professionals alike: professional-grade roofing, carpentry and zinc-work materials, custom zinc forming, anti-moss products, and technical advice from a Master Carpenter.
